We are looking for a Mid to Senior PHP/Laravel developer dedicated to their craft that can hit the ground running. We need you to write beautiful, fast code that is held to a high standard in a timely and scalable way that improves the code-base of our products meaningfully while following KISS and DRY methodologies.

You will be a part of a creative team responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development, from the initial specification to developing, testing, and launching. We work hard and play hard. Basic front-end scaffolding may be required, but polishing it is handled by designers/front-end developers.

Responsibilities

  • Write clean, readable, well-designed code
  • Produce detailed specifications
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure robust optimization and functionality with KISS/DRY in mind
  • Follow and execute industry best practices.
  • Working within a team to develop simple, optimized code
  • Write/maintain unit and feature tests
  • Occasionally assist with CI/CD pipelines or create/maintain non-local environments.

Qualifications

  • Strong MySQL experience
  • Comfortable with LEMP/Docker
  • Mastery of Laravel.
  • Familiarity with these technologies is also huge plusses: Zoho, VueJS, ReactJS, GraphQL.
  • Proven software development experience in PHP
  • Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, etc
  • Adequate knowledge of version control tools and of developing web services, especially
  • Object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Understanding and practical application of how to implement third-party APIs
  • Linux familiarity
